Computerized Systems Manager


The Computerized System Manager is a key stakeholder in the organization ensuring strategic development and support across all Clinical Systems. The Computerized System Manager is responsible for analyzing and developing business needs and implementation strategy related to computerized systems including business intelligence.

RESPONSABILITIES

 

More specifically, the Computerized System Manager must:

  • Manage implementation from end to end of Clinical Systems or all other related computerized System.
  • Create a strong relationship with all business unit owners to build a strategic implementation plan for all clinical systems.
  • Gather functional requirements from business users and prioritize them.
  • Provide product requirements pipeline to consultants or vendors.
  • Work closely with the different system providers to ensure alignment between system updates and internal process changes.
  • Analyze system integration needs and lead implementation.
  • Organize and lead the clinical support team for all end user requests.
  • Analyze the business unit owners needs regarding internal and external data intelligence.
  • Analyze industry trends to ensure company ecosystem alignment.

 

Employee may be assigned to other responsibilities that do not pertain to their former description, if they have the required experience, are qualified and/or have received adequate training.

 

IDEAL PROFILE

 

Education

  • At least 5 years of experience in in a similar industry to pharmaceutical research.
  • At least 5 years of experience acting Business Analyst or Software Product Support Team lead.

 

Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in in a similar industry to pharmaceutical research.
  • At least 5 years of experience acting Business Analyst or Software Product Support Team lead.
  • Direct knowledge of different clinical systems (CTSM, eTMF, eDC).
  • Previous experience working in a validated environment.
  • Direct Knowledge of Business Intelligence structure including API concept, dashboarding and report development.
  • Substantial experience in business analysis, requirement gathering.
  • Be able to lead small development and support teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication capabilities in dealing with System owners, system users and vendors.
  • Good knowledge of good clinical practices, and applicable Health Canada and Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations/guidelines.
