Talent Acquisition Advisor


Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Talent Acquisition Advisor is responsible for various recruitment mandates and must take ownership of the recruitment process from job postings, to conducting interviews, until the signature of employment contracts.

Responsibilities:

Recruitment :

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, screening, conducting interviews, etc.
  • Gather information on hiring needs and job requirements;
  • Advise managers in the drafting and revision of job descriptions. Ensures a match between the role, responsibilities and requirements of the position;
  • Create and maintain excellent relationships with internal clients by understanding their recruitment needs, introducing suitable candidates and ensuring prompt follow-up;
  • Screen resumes and pre-select candidates;
  • Conduct interviews with hiring managers;
  • Ensure timely follow ups with candidates and provide a positive candidate experience;
  • Present job offers to selected candidates;
  • Manage pre-employment process, including background verification and references;
  • Work closely with managers and provide the necessary support throughout the recruitment process;
  • Maintain a pipeline of candidates;
  • Manage and maintain positions and candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS);
  • Manage and maintain the various recruitment reports;
  • Participate in talent acquisition special projects and initiatives;
  • Support Employer Branding initiatives;
  • Work closely with HR Business Partner to ensure a smooth transition into the on-boarding process.

HR and Projects Support

  • Support the ongoing efforts of the human resources team to improve processes and enhance our employer brand;
  • Participate in human resources projects and initiatives;
  • Act as a support for the role of HR technician, including but not limited to maintaining the data in the HRIS, taking charge of the HR mailbox, supporting HR business partners in the administrative tasks of the department, etc.;
  • Manage and improve key tools, processes and workflows to keep our team running smoothly.

 

IDEAL PROFILE

Education 

  • University Diploma in Human Resources Management, Administration or equivalent.

Experience 

  • Previous experience in Recruitment or Human Resources department;
  • Experience working with an ATS;
  • Experience working with an HRIS system will be considered an asset.

Knowledge and skills

  • Bilingual in French and English and, both written and spoken;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook);
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment;
  • Autonomy and sense of initiative;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several mandate simultaneously;
  • As a key member of the HR team, must have a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
