Patient Recruitment Assistant (Contractual)

The Patient Recruitment Assistant is responsible for providing patients with information on clinical research studies and verifying their eligibility for various research project.

More specifically, the Patient Recruitment Assistant must:

  • Establishes the first contact with patients from the database or from advertisement ads through inbound and outbound calls, submitted online applications, and email responses;
  • Creates and updates recruited patient files in the organization’s database;
  • Provides information and verifies the eligibility of patients for different research projects
  • Gathers the patient's summary information, schedules screening visit appointments based on availability, and forwards relevant documentation by email, if available;
  • Performs other related tasks;

REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Vocational diploma in a relevant field of study.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a call center or in customer service.
  • Experience in clinical research is an asset;

Skills and knowledge

  • Bilingual French and English (oral and written);
  • Knowledge and competency in Word, Excel and Power Point;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational skills.
