Director, Clinical Site

The clinical site director is responsible for the overall management dermatology clinical site at Innovaderm. His responsibilities include operations and finance, quality, performance and training.

  • Ensures optimal functioning and quality of clinical research activities
  • Supports clinical research coordinators
  • Is responsible for answering the feasibility, qualification and pre-study questionnaires
  • Organizes and participates in qualification meetings for the clinical site
  •  Is responsible for quality at the clinical site and leads the quality meeting with recommendations.
  • Supports clinical research coordinators in the preparation of audits
  • Is responsible for the CAPA system at the clinical site
  • In collaboration with the Associate Director of Clinical Research, participates in the performance management process of the site team.
  •  Establishes systems to track learning outcomes and identify opportunities for continuing education.
  • Ensures that staff training is conducted in accordance with Innovaderm procedures.






  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to health sciences or nursing;




  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a medical or research environment;
  • Proven experience in managing the operations and team of a research site or private clinic;
  • Experience in dermatology (an asset);


Knowledge and skills


  •  Good knowledge of PCB standards, ICH, FDA and regulatory guidelines;
  • Bilingual: French and English, written and spoken;
  • Is recognized for his business acumen and his action-oriented management and the achievement of results;
  • Initiative, sense of analysis developed and interest in problem solving and process optimization;
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude that influences and stimulates your team to achieve the best results.
